the last month

Hello all!

well i am in my last month here in Reggio Emilia, Italy. It is the weirdest feeling that i will be going home in a month. I am a little confused about all my feelings because of course i want to go home and see all my friends and family, but i am just not ready to leave everything i have here...friends, family, home, classmates, school ect. but i am excited for summer here. the last day of school was great, but really sad. it was a normal day and i was excited about school being done, but then my classmates told me to stand up. so i stood up and they gave me a CD. the CD says "27 songs for 365 days of memories" and it has a picture of our class. pretty much, every single person in the class chose an italian song that represents them or is their favorite song. then they made a book of all the lyrics of the songs handwritten and then a dedication from each one to me. and if that wasn't enough to make me just ball, they then gave me an album. it was an album of pictures from the whole year together and all the pages were all decorated and everything. it was insane. and this was after they gave me a sweet italian bag for my birthday. i just couldn't believe it. i was the luckiest person on the planet to have them for classmates. After school, all the schools in Reggio Emilia went to the center of the city and we all had a water fight in the fountains of Reggio. Then at night, we all went dancing. It was super fun. Now it summer!!! My family and i have gone to the beach and we will go in a few weeks again. And actually, from the last time i wrote, i went to France! I went with my classmates for a week and we stayed in French families...haha that was an adventure knowing that i didn't know any French. But it was super fun. We saw a lot of castles and we took a really nice bike ride. So anyways, everything is great here. This week i will go to an AFS camp for four days. It is the final camp and they will talk to us about our upcoming difficulties. It will be interesting for sure. Ok well i thank you all for everything! I hope everything is great with you all!
